Three Days. One River. Endless Stories

A Texas Hill Country festival built around trail running, gravel riding, paddling, music, and community.

October 2-5, 2026 | Leakey and Concan, TX

What Is Frio Trio?

Frio Trio is more than a race weekend.

It's three days spent exploring the Texas Hill Country through movement, adventure, and community.

Run a trail race. Ride a gravel bike. Paddle the Frio River. Camp beneath the stars. Stay up late listening to live music. Meet people who love the outdoors as much as you do.

Choose one activity or make a weekend of it.

However you experience it, Frio Trio is about getting outside and getting connected.

Why the Frio?

The Frio River has been drawing Texans to the Hill Country for generations.

Crystal-clear water. Cypress-lined banks. Limestone bluffs. Small-town dance halls. Summer traditions.

Frio Trio was created to celebrate everything that makes this part of Texas special.

Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning to a place you've loved for years, you'll discover why people keep coming back to the Frio.
