* The 5:00 AM early start is for those 100 mile runners who expect to finish in the last hour.
The one and only reason I am adding this option is so that the later finishers can still attend the
awards ceremony. The early start is not required if you plan to run 29 to 30 hours. Everything else
remains the same. You still have 30 hours, so you must finish by 11:00 AM. None of the other cutoffs
change, so you need to pay attention to your new final cutoff time. Also, do not start early if you
are not a 29 to 30 hour runner. This option is not for you.
We are no longer providing a pre-race dinner or a post-race breakfast. The attendance has been
too low the last two years to justify it. All race activities will be in Huntsville State Park,
including packet pickup, race briefing, and the awards ceremony.
