Dan Keitz (DanO McKeitz) is an Austin legend. A seasoned ultra marathon trail runner, Dan was sidelined earlier this year with ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease) and CIDP (totally unpronounceable and very nasty).
All net proceeds from this run go directly to help Dan on his road to recovery. For this event, with your help, we raised over $35,000.00
The race was run at 7:30am on November 14, 2009 at a familiar location in Oak Hill whose name we can't mention here.
Many awards were given out to friends, family, and a maybe even a few fast runners.
Everybody enjoyed the opportunity to visit with Dan & run a bit too, including the flamingos.
