Tejas Trails hosts beautifully scenic, crazy fun, family-oriented, life-changing trail running races in Texas.

 
 
 

We Offer Trail Race Events with Distances From 5k, 10k, 13.1, 26.2, and Up to Ultramarathons of as many as 100 miles. We have something for everyone: Beginner runners, hikers, Ruckers, Ultra runners, Elite Runners, and Youth Runners, And several events offer a Ruck Division.

What’s in the name... most people first assume Tejas Trails just means “Texas Trails” because our races are in Texas. But there’s more to it than that. Tejas is the Spanish spelling of a Caddo word “taysha”, which means "friend" or "ally". Tejas Trails first stands for “friendly trails”, in the sense that from the very beginning, we have always tried to create a welcoming environment where people can try the trails for the first time and feel like they belong. Trail running is unlike any other activity out there, and our community is also unlike any other out there. We truly hope we get to enjoy them with you at one of our races soon.
